Although the cajon is traditionally played with the hands, todays percussionists are experimenting with a variety of implements in pursuit of new and exciting sounds, states Neil Larrivee, Vice President of Education and Drumstick Product Development for Vic Firth Co. For all the cajon brushes out there, we were surprised to learn that very few of them actually address the unique needs of this emerging instrument!
