TheJBL Professional Control 42Cis a pair of compact, in-ceiling satellite loudspeakers designed for use with the Control 40CS/T in-ceiling subwoofer. When combined with the 40CS/T, the 42C creates a natural sounding hi-fidelity satellite/subwoofer system for applications requiring wide bandwidth and remarkable sonic performance with minimal visual impact.
Each of the passive 42C speakers require 30W (program) of power to drive the single 2.5″ mid-high driver, which offers a frequency response of 180 Hz to 17 kHz with a maximum SPL of 100 dB peak. The 42C includes press-in grilles, C-ring support backing plates, knockout strain reliefs, cutout templates, and paint shields.
