The randomness of the Music Thing Modular Turing Machine, shrunk down to a handy 6HP.
Alan retains all of the same functionality as the original including the connectors for the expanders.

While this module has little to do with the original Turing Machine (by Alan Turing), it is a shift register based sequencer.

You can’t program this sequencer, instead it builds random sequences that can be locked in.

The Enigma is a 4HP expander for the Alan module that allows you to manipulate the stepped CV sequence, which enables you to create a different, yet related sequence to the main Alan output….. The After Later Audio Morcom is a 4HP expander for the Alan module and the Benjolin V2 that exposes the pulse outputs from the main modules.
You get 7 random outputs and then 4 that are derived from other 7 outputs.
When 1 and 2 are high then the 1+2 outputs are high. You can get some great rhythmic effects using these in conjunction with the main stepped CV output.
